We said goodbye to Olly in Bangkok and then left the next day for Ko Tao. Then we took our Open Water and headed down to Malaysia... This page has pictures from the week we spent in Thailand. Phil, Dan & Olly's Last Night in
Bangkok We were in Bangkok for 24 hours - enough time to celebrate in style the departure of Olly for London the next day. My memories of this time are a little blurred to be honest. |

The Dry Bar A 12 hour bus and ferry journey later we found ourselves on the small island of Ko Tao. The tourist infrastructure was well developed in comparison to what we were used to, but the place had its moments, in particular this beachfront bar, where we spent an inordinate amount of time drinking beer and watching the sunset. |

Dan On the Buckets A half bottle of Thai whiskey mixed with Thai Red Bull and coke. Quite a pick-me-up. |
Phil On the Buckets I wouldn't recommend more than one of these per night. |
Dan Takes It Easy At least the fresh juices were a good hangover cure. |

Koh Tao Sunset Despite the hordes of Brits, I have to admit that this island was incredibly beautiful. |

Phil, TJ, Nigel & Dan Nigel went for the pirate look and had a classic Brummie accent. |

The Open Water People Quite a crowd. To anyone looking to take their Open Water in South East Asia, I strongly recommend you go to Malaysia. It's just too popular in Thailand. |

The Open Water People #2 This was our group. Oh dear, I've forgotten everyone's names... |

Travelling Ain't Easy We spent two nights in Ko Pha-Ngan waiting for the Full Moon party, but got bored waiting and eventually left before it began. |
